Flyaway
Live telecasts from the event site are made possible by the use of Samacom flyaway system. The flyaway antenna is a 2.4m antenna designed for dual C/Ku band operation.
The relatively large size of the antenna coupled with the 400 Watt dual band HPAs ensures that enough transmit power is available for any satellite.
The flyaway equipment is configured to be fully redundant so that no downtimes are experienced during transmissions.
